Noida is going to add more to its green cover. A study published in Psychological Science says that, “green pathways, green stretch, spaces, parks and gardens in high-density city areas have the power to enhance the quality of life and the well-being of those who live there.”
Due to rapid urbanization and rural–urban migration, a city’s green cover reduces drastically. A study by UN recently states, as urban areas of the world continue to grow, there is a great opportunity to improve cities, making them healthier for people, simply by increasing greenery.
Greenery can be increased by adding more parks, trees, rooftop gardens, etc. Noida is already taking measures to become greener.
